My name is Elena.

I am a self-taught artist. I find ideas for creativity in my own imagination.
That means I don’t copy anyone.
Everything in this life is individual and unique.

I am learning to feel this world and to be happy.
I paint my pictures with love and so they will bring you happiness, harmony, prosperity and happy love.

I never thought I would be an artist. I lived, studied, did various activities. But the love for art and everything beautiful always lives in my soul.

I’m sure everyone has a destiny. And I found mine!

I see how all the events in my life have trained me, preparing me to become an artist.

All my skills, ups and downs have led me to take up painting professionally.

I experiment with different materials and use acrylic paints.
I do my paintings in mixed media in a modern style.

My painting is a dialogue with something that is not familiar to me.
I intuitively use different materials, colours and tools available at every particular moment.
I am experimenting.

Each painting is an immersion into something enticing, inviting and unknown.
Each painting has character, soul and consciousness.

When I take up a blank canvas I get an intoxicating feeling of encountering the hitherto unknown and new.

For me each painting is a personality.
For me painting is a partnership, a collaboration and a dialogue.
Because when a painting, or rather when the unconscious seeks to manifest itself in the material world, then it seems to me that I am the instrument, the observer and co-author of each individual work.
And this is beautiful.

The picture itself, and very often, against my will, reveals and suggests me the subject and colour palette.
I feel as if I am dancing a waltz and my head is spinning from the flight.
Time ceases to exist and I am fully immersed in the marvellous process of co-creation and creation.
It’s a wonderful feeling to know that you are part of something beautiful and limitless.

Through immersing myself in creating and painting I’ve realized and discovered my worst fear.
That fear of making a mistake and ruining everything. That it’s fatal and can never be undone.

Sometimes spilling paint from a tube onto a painting or something like that.
And sometimes, I feel that what I deliberately did is a “mistake”.
But it’s the “mistakes” that lead the picture to the best outcome in every sense.
And then the whole process starts either from the beginning or very differently.

Painting has taught me and continues to teach me to open up, to experiment, to look my fears in the eye and to have the courage to live and enjoy life.
Everything can be changed for the better! And so it is!

Considering that I am not copying anyone, only the state of harmony and peace in my soul gives me the answer where there is completeness and balance. That the painting on the canvas is ready and eager to present itself to the world and the viewer!

And I also want to add this: when you look at a painting, you will feel that it is painted with love, and that’s very important!

I want my paintings to bring you happiness, love, harmony, light and joy.
